ROMÉO ET JULIETTE was directed by Jenna Tamisiea Elser for Glow Lyric Theatre, in July 2016.

To address an American political climate driven by greed and fear, we placed ourselves in a crumbling world, grand of scale but deplete of comfort, signifying that we have entered a time where those who would promote brutality and separatism have taken control. The Capulets represent the wealthy class, shunning the Montagues who dare to live differently. Brought together by love and innocence, Roméo and Juliette fight to break through the barriers that divide them, but ultimately discover that in this world of isolationism and hate, the only place for their love is beyond their lives.
