Process

IMAGINATION (Emerging and Student Designers)

Work exhibited in this area will be dedicated to the beginnings of the creative process; searches for an artistic identity, strengths of formative energy, and imagination. This area of interest will include:

Emerging Designers – students, young/early career designers, and young/early career designer’s studios. (Competitive national exhibition)

The curators of the USITT exhibits \called for work to be considered in the areas of Emerging and Student Designer Exhibition, Professional Exhibition, and Performance Space Architectural Exhibition 2018.

Work submitted for the Imagination Exhibition (Emerging and Student Designers) must have been designed and realized while the designer was enrolled in either a graduate or undergraduate program, or within three years of completing the program. All work submitted must have been produced (realized) between June 2015 and May 2019 to be considered by the curators for inclusion in the exhibition.
